Innovative MBA program launched
University of Phoenix unveils new degree plan
 |
| University of Phoenix, Hawaii Campus, is offering a new MBA degree program starting this month. Students find solutions through a problem-based learning approach. |
As today's economy continues to change, and job stability remains precarious, many working adults are returning to school to earn advanced degrees that will increase their marketability. While having a degree is important, having the right degree is even more important..
Why an MBA degree?
Today's employers are demanding problem-solving skills that can be used to face the challenges of increasing competition, tighter time frames, and demands for higher productivity. An MBA program can help students acquire these crucial skills and apply them to their workplace. According to a recent Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) survey of 690 companies worldwide, employers plan to hire more MBA graduates in 2003, comprising some 18 percent of this year's hiring mix. With specialized skills and a broad base of business knowledge, MBA graduates are highly valued in the recruitment process.
Unique features of the new MBA degree program
University of Phoenix, Hawaii Campus will offer a new MBA degree program at the end of this month.
This innovative program is designed to enhance and advance students' careers through the development of specialized skills, such as collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking and strategic decision making.

They must extract practical information to comprehend the problems which merit solving.
At University of Phoenix, students may waive coursework by taking proficiency exams, depending on previous business undergraduate degrees or courses. This means students may earn an MBA in 39 credits or less.
